Are the passwords generated here secure?

Yes. We use the Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues) which provides cryptographically strong random numbers. The password never leaves your browser and is never stored.

What makes a password strong?

Length, variety of character sets, and true randomness. Our tool lets you control all these factors and shows you the resulting entropy in real time.

Should I use a passphrase instead of a password?

Passphrases can be easier to remember and type while still providing high entropy. Use at least 4 random words from a large dictionary (like ours) for best security.

Is there a risk of my passwords being leaked?

No. The entire tool runs in your browser. No data is sent to our servers, and we do not use any analytics that could log your passwords.
